“A project in the region directed directly against the interests of Serbia”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vui revealed tonight that he had pointed out a project in the region to European Commissioner Oliver Varhelji.

As he said, that project is competing for funds from the EU aid package, which he believes is directly directed against the interests of Serbia.

He did not specify at the joint press conference which project he was talking about.

“I think he heard what I had to say,” Vui said.

He expressed his gratitude to Varhelija for the visit and the great struggle to provide more money to the region.

“We look forward to every euro that comes,” Vui said, adding that Serbia is also satisfied when the commissions receive the money, because, he says, it is good for the entire region and the development of our country.

“I think we can establish a closer relationship with them,” he added.

He also thanked Ursula von der Layen, Arl Miel and all those who, as he says, worked hard to help Serbia and the region.
