A 42-year-old II from the vicinity of Aleksinac died today around 5.15 pm in a traffic accident on the road from Novo Selo to the town of Lalinac near Nis.
The tragedy occurred when II, driving a “Fiat Punto”, moving from the direction of Novo Selo, crossed to the left side of the road and collided directly with a “Mercedes” van that was coming to meet him, writes “Telegraf”.
The driver of the car was killed instantly, while two people in the truck were injured and taken to hospital.
Let us remind you that there were several serious traffic accidents on Serbian roads today in which one person lost his life and nine were injured.
Motorcyclist Ivan S. (25) from Sefkerin died near the Pupin bridge when he landed off the road and hit a traffic light.
In the afternoon, a serious chain collision involving seven cars and a truck occurred on the Vreoci-Arandjelovac road near Lazarevac, injuring nine people, one of them seriously.
During the August trip today, around 4 pm, a “pole” vehicle at the intersection of Gušićeva and Ulica Grada Sirena in Kragujevac collided with a traffic light, causing extensive material damage. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident.
A man (80) was seriously injured today in Slavija in Belgrade when he was hit by a bus, and at a similar time, around noon, a JKP “Higijena” truck caught fire in Pancevo, but no one was injured in this incident.
The latest in a series of accidents is on the railroad. Namely, the tractor driver was injured today in a collision with a passenger train, while crossing the line between the Gruža and Knić train stations, but his life was not in danger.

A young man (22) was stabbed today on Krađorđeva street in Belgrade, after which he was transferred to the Emergency Center.
