The retrial of Katarina Rebraca and her associates began today in the Belgrade High Court, over allegations of misuse of testimonies from the Fund for the Prevention of Breast Cancer.
The trial began with introductory statements from the prosecution and the defense, and the defendants pleaded not guilty.
The next test is scheduled for November 30.
The trial of Rebraca and his associates is repeated in accordance with the decision of the Court of Appeals, which ordered the removal of all significant violations of the criminal and illogical process of the reversed verdict, which sentenced Rebraca and his associates to one year in prison each.
Rebrača is accused that from June 2, 2006 to March 9, 2010, in Belgrade, as director of the “Katarina Rebrača” Charity Fund, to which donors paid the funds necessary for the prevention of breast cancer, she obtained Illegal property profits more than 22.5 million dinars.
According to the indictment, Mirjana Hristić from the “Mima Art” agency and Sladana Mironija from the “Top Image” agency helped her in that, and her trial will also be repeated.

The funds were deposited into the accounts of the “Katarina Rebrača” Charity Fund by donors in order to educate and inform women about the prevention of breast cancer, mainly through the “Infostan” payment vouchers.
The defendants are accused of the crime of abusing the position of responsible.
The process against her began in April 2010 with the arrest of Rebraca, who was detained until October of that year, after which she was released to defend herself.
