The Ministry of Justice confirmed to Tanjug that Eric Lamers had been detained, as well as that an interpol warrant had been issued against him. They add that Belgium is expected to send an extradition request.

This case will be under the jurisdiction of the High Court of Kragujevac, which will decide on the extradition of the Belgian, whom Belgium, according to local media, is seeking on allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.
