President Aleksandar Vučić received the plane at the Batajnica military airport.

The plane contains, among other things, 55 respirators, MRI, CT scanner, mobile X-rays, four ECG devices, 100 intensive care beds and 200 infusion pumps.

The Serbian president noted that they sent “everything that exists” from the Emirates.

“We will hit the crown hard,” he said, thanking his friends on the plane for, he said, the plane full of goods.

“Equipment and help that mean a lot to us. Just an MRI weighs 14.5 tons, imagine what it all costs on this plane,” added Vucic.

Vučić said that it was help that did not cost Serbia a dinar, and even the transport was arranged by a great friend of Serbia from the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed.

“We did not deserve this, except the friendship we have with him. This is enough for a kovid hospital team,” he added.

Vučić stated that the obtained equipment now goes to the warehouse, from where it will be distributed to Serbian hospitals and clinical centers, where it is most needed.

He announced the opening of the first block of the newly renovated Infectious Disease Clinic in seven to eight days.

Vučić pointed out that Prime Minister Ana Brnabić received the Fajzer vaccine, that the President of Parliament will receive another one approved by our agency, as well as by him, all with the aim of demonstrating her safety.

The UAE also sent a plane on March 29 with the first part of the aid with means of protection for the fight against the coronavirus.

At that time, 10 tons of aid arrived from the UAE: 13,750 protective suits and 15,000 hospital suits, 500,000 gloves, 30,000 protective products for footwear, 20,000 masks, 6,000 paramedics.
