The Defense Ministry announced tonight that a member of the Serbian army attempted suicide in the parking lot of the barracks in the Banjica municipality in Belgrade, stating that he was not on duty at the time.
Photo: B. CvejićAs stated in the advertisement, tonight around 7.30 pm, a PA member of the Serbian army attempted to commit suicide with a privately owned weapon, in a private car, in the parking lot of the “Vasa Čarapić” barracks in Banjica.
Immediately after the suicide attempt, he was transferred to the Military Medical Academy, where doctors fight for his life.
