Almost the entire management and a large number of employees of the Leskovac preschool institution “Vukica Mitrović” are positive for the corona virus.
This was confirmed at Leskovac General Hospital.
Only today came nine positive results. The principal, her deputy, secretary, secretary, two cleaners, two educators, and a triage nurse are all presumed positive for the corona virus.
According to unconfirmed information, the agents infected each other.
A total of 11 employees have been infected since November 4: three educators, two cleaners and six administration workers.
– They were examined in the Department of Infectious Diseases. Everyone has a clearer clinical picture and feels good, said the hospital’s director, Nebojsa Dimitrijevic.
Currently there are no infected children
The epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health, Zorana Kulić, says that for now there are no patients among the children attending kindergartens in Leskovac.
– Immediately after the first two cases, we disinfect the kindergarten “1001 radost”. Our proposed measure is to isolate all positive employees for 14 days. Tomorrow the kindergarten will be disinfected again. Our proposal is to organize the additional kindergarten work with educators from other kindergartens. Parents must decide for themselves whether to send them to kindergarten or not, says Kulić.
Dimitrijevic adds that a teacher from a primary school in Leskovac is also being treated at Kovid hospital.
– After a few critical days, it feels good – says Dimitrijević.
Due to the increasing number of patients at Leskovac kovid hospital (only seven of them were admitted today and 11 are currently being treated), a new old work regimen is being prepared.
– It has been prepared for the kovid regime and the Chest Department, so we are moving towards the old operating system of the kovid hospital – adds the director of the Leskovac hospital.
