A huge fraud was revealed in Serbia, citizens were invited to urgently call this number!

Members of the Belgrade Ministry of the Interior arrested VJ (1986) and DJ (1982) on suspicion that, in order to obtain illegal property gains, they deceived several citizens, inducing them to pay money for the treatment of a sick child.

The suspects are accused of publishing requests for help in print and electronic media from July 2020 to the end of March this year, falsely presenting the child’s health status (2016).

The victims are suspected of having been deceived by depositing money into accounts opened at various banks, thereby obtaining illegal property gains.

Due to the existence of reasons to suspect that they committed the crime of complicity fraud, the suspects were detained for up to 48 hours and will be transferred to the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, along with a criminal complaint.

As several victims are suspected, the police are calling citizens who were deceived in this or similar way to call the phone numbers: 011 / 279-75-17 and 064 / 892-78-44.
