Young MR (28) and SS (26) were arrested in an apartment in Zlatibor on suspicion of participating in the attempt to liquidate former fan leader Nenad Alajbegović Alibeg (40).
Let us remind you that Alibeg was shot in the chest a week ago on John F. Kennedy Street in New Belgrade.

– MR and SS are suspected of being members of an organized criminal group, and their wives were put in Zlatibor, while at the same time a search was carried out in up to eight locations in Belgrade – announced the Interior Ministry.

The video of the arrest of the suspects shows a large number of UCP members who surrounded the apartment, then broke in and arrested the suspects, who were sleeping in their underwear.
According to our investigation source, the arrested MR and Alibeg know each other, and allegedly lured him in on the fateful night.
– They are supposedly good friends, and MR invited Alajbegović to go out and see each other. He sent him a series of messages, and when Alibeg agreed and left, the SS, who was hiding behind a fast food kiosk, was suspected of shooting up to six shots at him, the source says, adding:
– There are indications that another person was involved in the attack. The motive is being examined.
Let us remind you that this is the ninth time that Alajbegović, who has a police file, was attacked. So far it has not been shot.
The only resolved attack
– It is the first time that those responsible have been arrested, so it is believed that the background will be clarified. In addition, it is being verified if the same team is behind the previous injuries – says the source and recalls that this is the third wait for Alibeg since the beginning of 2020.
He was previously wounded in January and June, also in New Belgrade.
Alajbegović confirmed to Kurir that he knew one of the detainees. – I’m in the hospital and I’m very sick. It is true that I know one, but not the other – he said briefly.

A few days ago, Alibeg told Kurir that he did not know who wanted to hurt him and who shot him again. He claims that he retired from the stands and fan circles 10 years ago. – I did not receive threats, if I received them, I would be more careful. That night I casually walked to the restaurant. When I got out of the vehicle, someone shot, he was 15 meters from me. I did not recognize him, he escaped – said Alibeg.
