Ivanka R. (78) was found dead in her home in the Provo village near Šabac on Wednesday afternoon around 5 pm, and the police suspect that the unfortunate grandmother, who lived alone and was a retiree in foreign currency , was killed out of selfishness.
A terrifying sight
The body of the unfortunate Ivanka was found by her neighbor Ljubica R., who called the police.
– The grandmother was lying in a pool of blood in the house and suspicious wounds were visible on her head. Money was found in the house, but it is suspected that part of the money was taken from her, that is, someone assaulted the woman and killed her because he knew she was a pensioner in foreign currency. The body was sent for an autopsy – says our source of the investigation.
Ljubica R. told the media that she went to her neighbor’s house after Ivanka’s sister called her and told her that she did not answer the phone all day.
– I went with my husband and we found a horrible sight. We found her lying on the ground. His legs were next to the bloody bed – said the neighbor.
She lived in austria
After returning from Austria, where she spent her working life, Ivanka returned to the village, she was vital and, according to her neighbors, she took care of herself.
– I often went to the store, hung out with everyone, went to have coffee at our place and invited people to the house. She was last seen the day before the crime. We suspect that he did not leave the house on Wednesday because it was very cold, we did not expect this – say the locals.
According to the neighbors, the inspectors spoke to them:
