The police arrested a doctor, a specialist from the Vojvodina IE Clinical Center (1976), due to the existence of grounds to suspect that he committed the crime of accepting bribes.
Photo: Beta / Dragan GojićThe IE suspect is accused of taking a total of 4,200 euros from three patients for surgery, in addition to the waiting list. It is suspected that he took 1,500 euros for two operations, while he requested and took 1,200 for the third, announced the Interior Ministry.
The police also arrested ZS (1960) suspected of having committed the crime of bribery in mediation and brought criminal charges against three other persons, one of whom was a policeman.

The criminal accusation, on the suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses of bribery, will be brought against two people, while the criminal accusation will be presented against the forty-eight-year-old policeman on the suspicion that he committed the crime of bribery.
Suspects IE and Ž.S. detention was ordered for up to 48 hours and they will be taken to the Special Department for the Suppression of Corruption of the Superior Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad, along with a criminal complaint.
