On September 28, 2020, at the Horgos crossing, customs officials, in cooperation with the police, found cigarettes hidden in the instrument panel and the spare tire of a pickup truck.

The infringement was discovered when a “Fiat Ducato” cargo van with Arandjelovac license plates arrived at the control line leaving the country.

Regardless of the fact that the 28-year-old driver and his passenger, both citizens of the Republic of Serbia, said they had nothing to report, a detailed inspection of the vehicle was carried out.

The cargo space was actually empty, however the customs officer first found 30 packs of “Winston” cigarettes hidden in the space behind the car radio in the factory instrument panel cavity.
