It is interesting that the car registered in the name of the company or the owner of “Maxbet” burned down less than 24 hours after the arrest of Ivan Kontić (35) in Montenegro, accused of brutally beating MM (28) on Jevrejska street in Novi Sad. in front of the bookmaker that belongs to said company.
Thanks to the quick reaction of the firefighters, the fire was extinguished in which no one was injured, and the material damage to the vehicle is great because the entire part of the engine was burned. The Novi Sad police tell “Blic” that, according to the report, they intervened around 1.20 am.
– An investigation was carried out at the scene of the incident and the competent prosecutor’s office was notified, and a further investigation will determine who owns the car and how the fire broke out – the police told us briefly.
Let us remind you, Kontić was arrested yesterday in Podgorica on the basis of an international arrest warrant from Interpol, and until September 24, when the alleged incident occurred, he worked as one of the directors of the company operating within “Maxbet” .
