Police and firefighters arrived at the scene of the blast in New Belgrade and traffic stopped in one lane, according to H1.

The Head of the Police Administration of the city of Belgrade, Milan Stanić, stated in a written statement that the explosion of the moving vehicle occurred at around 12.15 pm, during which two people were injured.

“It is a passenger motor vehicle, brand ‘BMW X 5’. Police patrols were dispatched to the scene. An investigation is ongoing. “Police officers on the ground are taking all measures and actions to find the perpetrator of this crime,” Stanic said.

As H1 learns, Strahinja Stojanović was seriously injured and the doctors are fighting for his life. She is currently in the intensive care unit and, according to early data, she lost both legs in the explosion of a moving car.
A Colombian citizen was in the vehicle with him, who was slightly injured.

Stojanovic also appeared as a witness in the trial for the murder of Luka Bojovic’s brother, Nikola.

Stojanović is suspected of being close to the Šaranović brothers, who died during criminal clashes and whose family has been in conflict with the Luka Bojović clan since 2009.

Stojanović was targeted by an attacker two years ago, when a girl from Spain was injured in a car explosion in Zemun.
