After the adoption of the new crisis staff measures, Belgrade “came alive”, but not to the extent expected, which is good.
It seems that citizens understood the danger of the virus and that, after the extension of the working hours of the catering facilities, not everyone immediately rushed to have a drink with their friends in the cafe.
In the center of the city, it is noted that some stores and bookstores closed after 5 pm, we do not know if they adhered to the epidemiological measures or did not understand that the new measures will take effect today.
The situation in Knez Mihailova is a bit different than that outside the strict center: the pedestrian zone is full of passers-by and there are more guests in the cafes. However, the whole experience is “spoiled” by the lack of music.
In any case, it is gratifying that the people of Belgrade did not serve many cups of hot coffee, but took the situation with the epidemic seriously.
As we discovered, the situation is similar in other cities in Serbia. The cafes are open, you notice a greater number of citizens in the streets, but there are no large crowds.
