The Novi Sad police arrested DS (29) on suspicion of committing the crime of abuse and torture.
DS is suspected of hitting his 28-year-old girlfriend from Novi Sad in the car the day before yesterday, not allowing her to get out of the vehicle, and inflicting minor injuries on her body.
The DS was ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought with a criminal report to the Novi Sad attorney general. Furthermore, according to the Domestic Violence Prevention Act, he was temporarily prohibited from contacting and approaching the girl.
As we discovered unofficially, the two were in an emotional relationship. They got into a fight in the car around the mobile phone and later inflicted several visible wounds on his face.
She did not want to report him, but a passerby saw him and called the police.
