We witness that customs agents discover almost every day various contraband goods in alleged bus shipments, so on 7 December 2020 such seizures were recorded both at the Horgos crossing and in the in-depth control of the Kraljevo-Kruševac highway.
At the Horgos border crossing, customs officials, in cooperation with the police, booked a bus for a detailed check at the entrance to the country, which was used by ten passengers from Belgium to Albania.
The bus driver, a 40-year-old Albanian citizen, said that neither he nor the passengers had anything other than personal luggage that should be reported to customs control.
It turned out to be far from the truth, because the last four rows of seats on the bus were “covered” with bags, sacks and boxes, filled with different merchandise. “Nobody’s” luggage, which the driver said were deliveries, contained clothing and shoes from various brands, world-famous brand perfumes, televisions, video surveillance equipment and even an electric bicycle. .
It was determined that the value of the undeclared merchandise is almost 13,000 euros, so the driver will respond in the criminal process, until the merchandise in dispute is stopped.
Around the same time, at the other end of the country, a mobile team of customs officials seized 200 brand-name perfumes, the suspected originality of which has yet to be determined.
Namely, during the depth check in Podunavci on the main Kraljevo-Kruševac road, customs officers found a 41-year-old man from Novi Pazar, who was packing boxes full of perfume in his “Range Rover” car, after pick them up on a Pirot line bus. -Belgrade.
As there is no documentation of the merchandise, obviously intended for later resale, it will be kept until the infringement procedure initiated before the competent court has ended.
