Tiodorovi added that, in addition to requesting measures, it is very important that the Law for the Protection of the Population against Infectious Diseases has been adopted, because in this way the number of participants in the supervision of the implementation of the measures will increase.

He also stated that it is very important that citizens understand that they are not required to be obedient, but responsible.

“All measures must always be well explained to the people, they must not be intimidated, paid, but called to account,” Tiodorovi told Tanjug.

He said that the medical part of the Crisis tab required some more measures, but also that those that were introduced were a balance between preserving the health of the population and maintaining the economic situation.

“This is the first application of measures, but new ones can always be added, based on an assessment of the general epidemiological situation,” Tiodorov said, adding that the Crisis tab was “in the daily session” and that they were agreed daily and quickly. and can easily supplement measurements.

As he stated, today one of the most important measures was adopted, and it concerns the restriction of the work of catering services and other places of gathering of people.

“We will continue proposing and the government will expand the measures if the epidemiological situation requires it,” Tiodorov said.

He hopes that, with new measures and better control, the number of patients will be reduced.

“The measures are not worth much if you do not have good control. With the reforms to the Law for the Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases, now, in addition to the sanitary inspectors, community militias are included in the supervision,” said Tiodorovi.

When asked if there were any proposals to extend the fall break, he said there were proposals for schools not to work next week, but stated that the situation in cars is currently stable and there is no need for that at this time. .

Regarding the winter holidays, he said that he was considering having a winter holiday in Vojvodina and the rest of Serbia at the same time.

“My proposal is that it be from December 19 to January 20, and that way both Catholics and Orthodox Boi are included. We are just thinking about it, we have time for that,” Tiodorovi said.
