When asked by journalists to clarify the part of the Law that refers to mandatory vaccination and how it will be applied, Djerlek said that health workers will be vaccinated first, then the army and the police, and then, as he himself says , “others”.
Djerlek added that part of the Law refers to compulsory vaccination and part only to recommended vaccination.
He pointed out that the Law is the same for everyone and that officials who, he recalls, are elected for a specific period, will also be sanctioned if they oppose it.
– The law is the same for everyone, regardless of whether he performs a state function or not. We are mainly citizens of Serbia, and civil servants are people who are elected for a certain period, and that is why all people will be treated in the same way and all those who must be immunized and do not want to be vaccinated will be sanctioned, Djerlek said.
He recommended that citizens get vaccinated against kovid, because, he points out, it will be a good and safe protection for their health, considering that only vaccines approved by our Medicines Agency will be used.
– We trust Fraser and other serious global companies, but we continue to trust our experts more. I am convinced that our Agency will choose a safe vaccine that, in addition to all that, will be free for our citizens – said Djerlek.
