Initially, only elementary school students were supposed to go on vacation, 11, 12, 13. It should be autumn vacation, we decided that secondary school children and the headquarters area of ​​Serbia and Vojvodina should also go vacation.

Last week the presence of the virus was confirmed in a total of 248 children, of which 151 were high school. In the first four days of this week the infection was confirmed in 202 people, 74 from primary school and 128 from secondary school. Since the beginning of the school, the virus has been confirmed in 708 students, reports Kisić Tepavčević. It states that the epidemiological situation in the school environment is stable, mainly due to the responsible behavior of children and teachers. It is the lowest in elementary schools and the lowest in the lower grades, he noted.

The occupancy of hospital capacity is increasing, reported Kisić Tepavčević. Belgrade has the highest number of confirmed infections: 1,144 people, Novi Sad 219, Kraljevo 60, Nis 50, Vranje 32, Zrenjanin 29, Pancevo 25, Sremska Mitrovica 22.

Every day at least some cases have been confirmed in almost every city in our country, which indicates a large number of possible reservoirs, says Kisić Tepavčević.

In Belgrade, 14 percent are infected daily in the municipality of New Belgrade, 13 Zemun, Zvezdara and Cukarica about 11 percent.

Exactly eight months have passed since the first case of this disease in our country, and since then it has been recorded that 53.3 percent were men and 46.7 women, reported Kisić Tepavčević. With regard to the age distribution of the patients, with regard to children, from 0 to 9 years there were 2.2. from 10 to 19 years 3.4 percent, from 20 to 29 years there were 14 percent of patients, at most 30 to 39 – there were 20 percent – so that every fifth person who had an infection was at this age, approximately 19 percent from 40 to 49 years old, from 50 to 59 years old 17 percent, from 60 to 69 years old 13 percent of patients, from 70 to 79 years old seven, from 80 to 89 three percent and over 90 years old was a total of 0.3 percent.
