Due to the alarming situation and the dramatic increase in the number of newly infected with the corona virus in Serbia in recent days, a session of crisis personnel for the fight against kovid-19 will be held tomorrow at noon.

“We haven’t met at Crisis Staff for a long time and that should change,” Dr. Predrag Kon said today as a guest on TV Pink.

The agenda will include several current affairs, such as the alarming situation in Belgrade, where more than 1,000 new infections are registered every day, and the proposal to extend the mini autumn holidays for primary school students will be considered.

– In elementary schools, we are seriously thinking about the fact that it would be useful to extend the holidays. The system is made in such a way that classes don’t have to be shortened, but when you’re already on vacation, it makes sense to extend it – explained Dr. Kon today.

Let us remind you that, according to the school calendar, a five-day fall mini break is planned for elementary students from November 11-15, but not for secondary school students.

Depending on today’s results, if further growth in the number of new infected people is confirmed throughout Serbia and the filling of hospitals is further accelerated, it is not excluded that some new measures will be proposed and introduced, either at the level local or throughout Serbia.
