Eight more died in Kosovo and Metohija

In Kosovo and Metohija, in areas under the supervision of the Kosovo government health system, eight people died of kovida-19 in the last 24 hours.

In Machvan district 104 positive samples

Novi Pazar – 8 patients were hospitalized

Eight patients were hospitalized in the kovid area of ​​the General Hospital of Novi Pazar, announced the Kovid Regional Center of that city.

In Sumadija district 128 newly infected, in Kragujevac 113

According to the latest data from the “Kragujevac” Public Health Institute, another 128 positives for the virus were registered in the Sumadija district, of which 113 in Kragujevac.

10,962 samples analyzed

In the last 24 hours, 1,878 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Serbia, half of which are from Belgrade, and 11 people have died.

According to new data from the Ministry of Health, 10,962 samples have been analyzed since the last stretch.

Most of the new infected are in Belgrade, 943, followed by Novi Sad with 147, Kragujevac with 124 and Nis with 53 new infected.

In Šabac, 38 new cases were registered, in Kraljevo 35, Pancevo 34, Loznica 31, while in other cities there are less than 30 new cases.

In relation to the number of people tested in Serbia, just over 17% are positive.

There are 49 patients on ventilators throughout Serbia.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia, a total of 51,083 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed and 844 people have died.

A total of 1,363,619 people were evaluated.

The daily growth in the number of confirmed covid patients indicates that the epidemic situation in Serbia remains unstable and that a further increase in the number of infected can be expected, doctors note.

Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar said yes in Belgrade, a total of 3,118 exams were conducted in the last 24 hours, of which around 2,200 were the first exams.

Lončar says that more than 80 patients have been admitted to KBC “Zvezdara”, which is again a hospital, since yesterday, and that the capacity of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Clinic exceeds 90 percent.

Violeta Mihailović Vučinić, director of the KCS Pulmonology Clinic, told RTS that the virus leaves serious consequences in terms of some fibrosing changes in the lungs.

And when there are no symptoms, when the patient just coughs, pneumonia is shown.

The German embassy donated five clinical respirators to health institutions in Serbia.
