The priority of the Ministry of the Interior is the fight against organized crime

Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin said today that the fight against organized crime is an absolute priority of the Interior Ministry.

Vulin expects a full commitment and results in the dissolution of organized criminal groups and the cutting of their sources of funding and influence, but no less commitment to fight to eradicate the crime that affects ordinary people: street violence, organized crime, trafficking of drugs, the Interior Ministry said.

At the first college with Police Director Vladimir Rebic and his associates, deputy ministers and heads of organizational units, Minister Vulin stated that the focus of the Interior Ministry’s work will continue to be capacity building and improving conditions of work and equipment of police officers.

The Interior Ministry’s priorities and additional work plan were specified at the meeting, and the results so far have been summarized, the announcement said.
