The Serbian ambassador to Austria, Nebojsa Rodic, told Kurir that at the time of the terror attack, he was walking with his family, just a kilometer and a half from the scene of the horror.
– This is a shock and something that was unthinkable for everyone that could happen in Vienna, which has been the most desirable and safest city for years. It all happened a little after 9 pm I was walking with my family and suddenly there were a lot of cars on the streets. We knew something had happened, and when the helicopters flew over, we were afraid that something big had happened. Now we are safe, we are monitoring the situation in our home. We still cannot verify anything for our citizens because the action is ongoing. With my associates, I immediately took all measures related to the integrity of the embassy, and it is properly guarded, because it is located in the immediate vicinity of the Vienna Police Academy, the ambassador told Kurir.rs.
He points out that there were unusually many people in the restaurants and on the streets tonight, because tomorrow at 8 pm a curfew was ordered.
