Serbian Defense Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic stated that the tanks arriving from Russia significantly strengthen the combat equipment of the Serbian army, and announced that in the future work will be done on equipping special and reconnaissance units.
– 30 modern T-72 tanks should arrive, as part of the “Vucic-Putin” agreement in Sochi. They significantly strengthen our combat capabilities – Television Minister Pink said last night.
He added that Army reconnaissance and special units will be equipped in the future, but did not provide further details.
According to him, no one in the region should fear the strengthening of the Armed Forces, emphasizing that it is there to protect its people as a guarantee of stability and security.
– We have never given reasons for others to be afraid – Stefanović emphasized.
