Urban transport and shopping malls in Belgrade started to work, and if everyone expected it to be full, that did not happen.
On buses, trams and trolleybuses, fifteen people drove more in the afternoon, while in the morning, the number of passengers on most buses could be counted on the fingers of one hand.
There were also no crowds in the shopping malls.
However, there were queues in front of banks and some brand stores in Knez Mihailova, so everyone who wanted to enter had to arm themselves patiently.
However, some were imaginative and resourceful to get around the wait. This is how a middle-aged man entered a store and asked the vendor if she would earn 2,000 dinars. To get the money, she had to put a few T-shirts underneath her to make a pregnant belly. Those waiting in line would miss them because of the “pregnancy”.
– It is not enough to say that I was surprised when I heard that man’s proposal. And the saleswoman was surprised. Kindly thanked and said she was not interested. When he saw that he could not convince her, he apologized to her and probably went in search of another woman who was ready for something like that, says the interlocutor who attended the unusual scene.
