The head of anesthesia at the “Dragia Miovi” Clinical Hospital Center, Duka Ignjatovi, says that 174 positive patients are currently being treated at that health institution.

“Almost all the capacities we left for kovid positive patients have been filled. We already have more than 20 patients in the intensive care unit and they are on some kind of mechanical ventilation,” Ignjatovi told TV Pink.

He recalled that the Dragia Miovi Hospital has been working in dual modality since October 1, serving covid patients, as well as patients suffering from some other diseases and who are not infected.

He points out that around 200 beds have been reserved for covid patients and that they care for patients with a moderate and current clinical picture.

The average number of patients treated in Miovi in ​​this wave is 57 years and there are slightly more men than women, the ratio is 60 to 40.

When asked if the virus has grown stronger and is causing more serious complications, Ignjatovi said that of the total number of patients seen, about 10 percent were in the intensive care unit, in June and July 40 percent of the number The total number of patients seen was in intensive care units. .
