Doctors and other medical workers warn about it every day, maybe even more than before, because when it thickens, and the way things are, chances are high that it will happen, everything will fall on their shoulders. Again they will have to work infinitely long shifts, get infected, receive treatment and then in a circle.
Until then, the clubs will function without hindrance, they will receive guests as in the best of times, they will completely ignore all the recommendations and prohibitions, while at the same time they will become the largest nurseries of the crown because, if you wonder, it does not exist.
And that it is very present is shown by the latest record data from March of this year, which says that today in Serbia the highest number of crowns infected with the virus has been registered since the beginning of the epidemic.
Crisis Personnel Session Tomorrow
That is why tomorrow morning an extraordinary session of the Crisis Staff is scheduled, where the current epidemiological situation of the country will be analyzed, but also of the region where the crown is also “wild”, but new measures and recommendations will be discussed.

Crisis personnel have been warning for days.

Epidemiologist and member of the Crisis Staff for Covid 19 infection control prof. Dr. Branislav Tiodorović says for “Blic” that when it comes to punishing those who do not respect the measures, crisis personnel cannot punish anyone because that is what state institutions should do.
– We, the crisis personnel, especially the team of experts, do not have the right to sanction anyone, the corresponding state services do so. These are inspections and communal police. There is a problem related to legal regulations, whether or not it can be applied, and that is why we are waiting for the Assembly to be constituted, to toughen up some laws, which until now have not allowed the sanctions to be fully implemented. And the other thing is that it can be posed as a question why the inspections do not do their job to the end or the communal police. They are few, so that they can control everything, and that is why it was introduced for citizens to report through Viber. We receive images that show a large number of people in a club without using any protective measures. The good thing is to note that the vast majority of citizens really respect the measures – says the epidemiologist.
Sanctions for organizers
As for those who organize parties and meetings outside the measures, Professor Tiodorović believes that all mechanisms should be applied there.
– At this time, according to the law, we can close the facility for seven days if it works after 11 at night. If you do not apply protective measures, masks, distance, disinfection, physical distance within the building, that closing measure can also be applied, but only inspection can do that. Now we are in a situation where we do not have enough inspectors for this kind of control, concludes Professor Tiodorović.
One of the risk situations, which could also affect the increase in reports of new infections, is the fact that our people travel to Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but often they do not have a justifiable reason for it.
Quarantine too expensive
Due to the state of emergency in March, many paid too high a price. Many were left without their relatives, while the lives of others were in danger, especially in tourism and catering. The state has set aside 5.1 billion euros in aid for the economy alone, which, as our officials said, is half of Serbia’s annual budget.
Most of the young
As the epidemiologist Tiodorović explains, most of the new patients are young, 20 to 40 years old, but there are also up to 60 years who do not require hospital treatment, but require the utmost caution.
– This is how the wave begins, with those young people who do not feel bad they will not even get tested and discover that they are infected. Well, we certainly have more of those who do not go to the doctor and those who have an asymptomatic picture. We still don’t have a lot of pressure in the hospitals. On the other hand, these young people live in homes or student residences, they circulate, they are transmitted to the elderly, and that is what can be a problem. We must do our best to stay in control – he said.

Yes, for doctors who work day and night in spacesuits and are already running out of energy, for saleswomen in shops who wear masks, for children who wear masks in schools, for these new more than 500 infected and, yes, for the families of those 781 people. who has died of the crown in Serbia so far.
