BELGRADE – In just a few days after the announcement of the “Count and Win 2020” prize game as a way to fight the black economy, citizens of Serbia have already sent 35,000 envelopes with tax invoices and receipts.
The Contact Center address [email protected] received more than 70 inquiries and citizens are more interested in knowing which address they send the envelopes to, how to fill them in correctly and if their invoices are correct. The address to be entered on the front of the envelope is TAKE THE ACCOUNT AND WIN 2020, while on the other side it is mandatory to clearly write the name and surname, address and contact telephone number of the sender. Sending envelopes is completely free.
Each envelope must contain at least 10 fiscal invoices or 10 receipts, a minimum value of 100 dinars, no earlier than September 1, 2020. Fiscal invoices and receipts must not be mixed in the same envelope, for example, an envelope with 9 invoices tax and a receipt will be considered invalid. On the national portal www.uzmiracun.rs it is available how to recognize the correct tax account and the receipt and the answers to other frequently asked questions.
Taking into account the current epidemiological situation, the Government of the Republic of Serbia is again appealing to citizens to prepare and address the envelopes at home and simply put the filled envelope in the nearest mailbox. It is recommended that the envelope with 10 bills be closed with clean hands with tape or glue to avoid the slightest possibility of potential contact of the virus with the respiratory tract, after which the hands should be washed again. In addition, citizens are advised to pay whenever possible, not in cash, as this avoids direct contact with the seller and the tickets that go from hand to hand. At the same time, they double their chances of winning, because for ten card payments they get 10 tax bills and another 10 ballots, which is enough for two envelopes.
Please note that participation in the raffle does not involve waiting in lines, or even entering the post office, as any envelope can be used and there is no need to buy or paste stamps, simply insert a properly filled envelope into one of the more than 1,900 mailboxes that are available outdoors throughout Serbia.
It is very important that in the fight against the underground economy we act responsibly and consciously and do not endanger our own health and the health of the people around us, which in this case is absolutely possible.
The Government of the Republic of Serbia has allowed citizens to send envelopes with invoices or tax receipts from October 15, and citizens will soon be informed about the exact dates of the draw, which will be organized live on Radio Television Serbian . The organization of the prize game is one of the activities foreseen by the National Program for the Repression of the Gray Economy.
