The announcement of the Ministry of Defense indicates that during the collegiate session the activities carried out in the last three years were discussed, as well as that an analysis of the degree of development of forces and operational capabilities of the Armed Forces was presented.

During the meeting, it was assessed that the Armed Forces “significantly strengthened their capabilities”, and that the most significant result during the previous three years was to provide new resources, modernize existing capabilities, strengthen operational capabilities, improve training, but also improve the financial situation of soldiers and officers.

It was also evaluated that the military neutrality of Serbia allows “the successful development of partnership cooperation with other armies”, in accordance with the national and defense interests of Serbia, which will be “the firm commitment of Serbia in the future”.

At the session, the Chief of the General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, handed a bayonet to Minister Aleksandar Vulin “as a token of gratitude for all that he has done for the development and strengthening of the Armed Forces in the last period”.
