Today, Russia’s ambassador to Serbia, Aleksandar Bocan-Kharchenko, dismissed accusations about the cancellation of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Serbia as a “complete and irresponsible fabrication.”

The ambassador said that the presidents of Russia and Serbia are “in constant and meaningful contact and always coordinate their movements with each other.” “As soon as the time comes, everything will be officially unveiled,” Bocan-Kharchenko added.

Citing unofficial sources from diplomatic circles, “Danas” announced that Putin will not visit Belgrade in October, as previously announced.
In June, after a meeting with the Russian president in Moscow, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Putin had confirmed that he would visit Serbia in October and that it would be a “magnificent event” because the Temple of Saint Sava in Vracar would then open.
