Sasa Vidovic, a prisoner at Foca Penitentiary, committed suicide today.
As Srpskainfo learns, Vidović left a farewell letter to his mother and brother, and today is his baptism party.
Sasa Vidovic was sentenced in 2019 to 18 years in prison for the aggravated murder of Miroslav Lazarevic in eastern Sarajevo in 2016, for illicit arms production and trafficking and for causing general danger, for which he should have served 19 years in prison.
Vidović was convicted of the murder of Lazarević along with Aleksandar Bulatović, who will be serving 18 years in prison.
Miroslav Lazarevic was considered one of the members of the East Sarajevo automafia group. After his murder, revenge followed, so Zeljko Bulatovic, Aleksandar Bulatovic’s father, was killed in Novi Sad, as revenge for the murder of Lazarevic.
Sasa Vidovic has been linked to the Skaljar clan, and his name has allegedly been linked to the murder of Partizan fan Aleksandar Stankovic, known as Sale Mutavi. The possibility that Aleksandar Bulatović was also close to the Skaljar clan is not ruled out.
