During a visit to a country estate near Peshter, President Vučić received an important invitation and two days later the promise was fulfilled.

During the weekend, only two days after the visit President Aleksandar Vučić, the town of Dolići near Sjenica has already received a new 400 kilowatt transformer, which is four times stronger than the old one, said Acting Director of the Serbian Electric Power Industry Milorad Grčić during today’s visit to the town of Dolići.

“At the end of the year, at the latest, we will build another new 400 kilowatt transformer and a 10 kilowatt transmission line with a length of 500 meters, from which the Sabaredzovici hamlet with 19 homes will be supplied. This will provide a quality and reliable electricity supply to 69 households and enable the development of dairy production and meat processing, of which people live in this part of the Peshterska plateau, “said Grcic.

He also emphasized that the plan of this public company is in line with the policy President Aleksandar Vučić that every part of Serbia has a stable electricity supply.

“The area of ​​Sjenica has a good transformer station of 110 kilowatts, and the problem is the divorces due to the great extension of Peshter. In a few months, the plan is to provide a stable electricity supply to another end of the municipality of Sjenica,” he announced Grcic.

Local resident Muris Šabaredžović, whose home was visited by President Aleksandar Vučić, does not hide his surprise at Elektroprivreda’s quick reaction.

“We did not expect the voltage to increase four times in just two days. This has already allowed us to work more easily when milking cows, so we are also thinking of opening a dairy. Thanks to President Vučić for the promise that was never fulfilled faster. For us, electricity is, in addition to water and the way of life, in Peshter, “said Šabaredžović.

The director of the Serbian Electric Power Industry, Milorad Grčić, said that this investment in a better and more reliable power supply and the increase in installed capacities for new and existing users will allow the development of rural tourism in the area of Sjenica.
