The planes, which arrived from Toulouse on Friday, were originally supposed to be delivered in March, but that was postponed due to the corona virus pandemic.
Both aircraft were manufactured in 2010 and are owned by Carlisle Aviation Partners.
They will be registered as YU-APL and YU-APM. Adria surrendered ten years ago and operated under the S5-AAP and S5-AAR registries until the company filed for bankruptcy in September 2019.
Air Serbia added its ninth A319 last year, reports Ex-Yu Aviation portal.
After the outbreak of the kovida-19 pandemic, Air Serbia returned the Airbus A320 and ATR72 to the owners, as their lease expired.
In addition, one of the three remaining Boeing 737-300s in Air Serbia’s fleet has not flown since the start of the pandemic and will most likely not be back in service.
The other two Boeings are still used, mainly on charter flights, but are also regularly used on flights to Podgorica and Dusseldorf.
