The latest analyzes carried out by the RGA periodically show that a series of notaries public have harmed more than 50,000 citizens for unprofessional conduct, whose application for registration in the cadastre has been suspended.

Due to the irregularity of the applications presented and the illegality in the processing of the case by several notaries public, the RGA had to suspend up to 23,924 applications sent to the cadastre from the notaries in the previous period.
We remind you that, based on the Law of Procedure for Registration in Cadastre and Real Estate Property Lines, notaries are empowered to submit citizen requests to real estate cadastre services with a single click, electronically. But that these applications must be submitted in accordance with the law, which a large number of notaries do correctly. Some notaries achieve excellent results and don’t even have a single application rejected. Unfortunately, that good image of conscientious colleagues is spoiled by those notaries whose percentage of rejected cases exceeds 10%, and in some cases up to 17%.
Due to the irregularities identified in the work of certain notaries, the Geodesic Authority of the Republic is forced to appeal to citizens to verify the quality of the work of the notaries who are responsible for their territory and choose those notaries that obtain the best results. Citizens can consult the work of notaries on the RGZ website (www.rgz.gov.rs).
If the application for registration in the cadastre is suspended, citizens must file a complaint with the Chamber of Notaries for the negligent work of the notary public.
In order to improve the quality of the work of notaries, the Geodesic Authority of the Republic has already sent objections to the Ministry of Justice and the Chamber of Public Notaries, which, we remind you, is obliged to initiate actions against those notaries who act in against laws and regulations.
