The state has provided more than 500,000 doses this year, about 200,000 from the Torlak Institute and about 344,000 doses from foreign suppliers.
Will you be vaccinated against the flu?
Yesterday, the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, appealed to chronic patients and patients with associated diseases to get vaccinated and take advantage of the extremely favorable epidemiological situation regarding the coronavirus.
“Now the lowest risk is to go to a health center and vaccinate people. The flu vaccine will help a lot in the fight against the corona virus,” the minister told reporters in Belgrade.
He indicated that the distribution of the pneumococcal vaccine has started in all nursing homes and that there is enough for all users and for all employees.
“There is a vaccine for those others who are not users of the nursing home, because it has shown a good result and prevents greater consequences than the coronavirus,” Loncar said.
He points out that both vaccines are free and run by the state.
