An expert examination of the wreck is currently underway, which should provide an answer to the question whether the plane crash and the deaths of pilots Dejan Krsnik and Zvonko Vasiljevic were caused by a technical or human factor.
The flight parameter recording device (SARPP), as explained by experts in aviation technology, is far from the modern “black boxes” in terms of its capabilities. On its tape, according to old Soviet technology, only the basic parameters of the operation of the aircraft are recorded: the number of revolutions of the engine, activation of certain assemblies, used weapons, additional combustion …
The two military commissions will “read” the wreckage of the plane in the coming days, which should give a more precise answer to the question about the reason for the accident. The fact that Krsnik and Vasiljevic did not catapult from the plane will also be under scrutiny by investigators. So far, there are several versions of how this outcome occurred, the most likely of which is that due to the low altitude, high speed and the desire to try to lift a plane that was out of control, they did not even manage to save themselves.
