Radmila M. from the vicinity of Šabac, who died this morning at the Hospital of the Belgrade Special Prison, was in custody on suspicion of killing her newborn.
As “Blic” learns, Radmila M. and her own husband reported that the baby had died, and the doctors at the Health Center confirmed the child’s death.
After the autopsy, it was determined that the baby drowned in gastric juice. However, six months later an investigation was launched, after which the mother was arrested on charges of aggravated murder.
The same couple had already lost a child during hospital delivery.

As said for “Blic” in the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, the detainees of the Republic of Macedonia from the Belgrade District Prison, posed last night around 9 pm She was immediately transferred to the Special Penitentiary Hospital, however, when entered the ambulance lost consciousness. The prison doctor reacted immediately and began resuscitation. Soon the ambulance doctors arrived, who could only declare death.
The body was sent for an autopsy and the exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
