BELGRADE / NICOSIA – Serbian citizens can enter the territory of Cyprus from tomorrow, September 24, if they have a negative PCR test, no more than 72 hours, the Cypriot authorities announced, which was also published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.
Certain categories of people can take the test upon arrival in Cyprus (at their own expense).
These are Cypriot citizens, their spouses from other countries and their minor children; people who have a regulated stay in Cyprus; persons with a special entry permit from the Government of Cyprus; people who come from a country where it is not possible to test for the corona virus, it is stated on the website of the ICJ of Serbia.
It is added that all passengers must have a Cypriot flight pass (CyprusFlightPass) in order to board. All necessary documents can be found and completed electronically no more than 24 hours before the flight. The fine for not having a Flight Pass is € 300.
Cypriot authorities previously revised their list of safe countries when it comes to Kovid 19 and reduced the group of countries whose citizens do not need a negative PCR test to just eight.
Serbia, which was in the third category, has now moved to the second category of countries with reduced risk but greater uncertainty compared to group A, the Cypriot Ministry of Health announced.
