– Certainly you have the right to criticize and suggest, to understand yourself, but at the time of the epidemic, it is not appropriate to do politics. Statements like this, which are not based on facts, because no one said that we will introduce a state of emergency, are not correct. I said that based on the data that we have and based on the epidemiological evaluation, there may be a slight increase. So, not what will come, but what can happen if the measures are not respected, and there is a difference. And all that again has nothing to do with the state of emergency, and those who posted this type of information obviously confused two terms – explains Tiodorović.

As you point out, the measures that are prescribed within the emergency situation are currently being applied in Serbia, and however favorable it may be, we cannot cancel it until the WHO emergency cancels the pandemic.

– We are in an emergency situation, which means that we have measures that we must respect. A state of emergency is introduced when there is a danger that something has gotten out of control, so we simply have to reduce people’s contacts, and that means closing facilities, schools, kindergartens, theaters, all those places where people can get together, and restrict the work of those activities. They supply food, as we have already had. We don’t expect that at all and we’re not even close to something like that, ”he said.
