Kon told Prva TV that there are numerous restrictions for that, which means that each crossing must have a health inspection that will issue a decision to every citizen of Serbia that they must be in self-isolation.
Now, the warnings are being distributed across the borders and the returnees are certainly in self-isolation, but without a solution, but with a warning.
“With the sudden influx of returnees, there will be a sudden filling and clogging of the laboratory, so we cannot make the decision to get tested so easily,” Kon said.
He added that the political decision was that a negative PCR test was needed to enter Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“It is clear that self-isolation is something that serves to prevent transmission, it depends on the assessment of whether it is absolutely necessary. At the moment we do not have any, although a large number of our people have returned from Montenegro. I do not expect, regardless of self-isolation, that the measure will be adopted, ”Kon said.
Kon said that it was not impossible to change the decision in the Crisis Staff session and for self-isolation to be introduced, and suggested that it should be 10 days for the little ones who would not go to school and kindergartens.
“A recommendation is a recommendation, and within it, if someone needs to work and go to work, then it is a special concern of that person not to infect someone at work,” Kon said.
He added that there are 5 positive students in the Belgrade school, and it was found that 3 had not entered the school.
“We have school employees who are infected, a total of 12 students in Belgrade and another 5 in Serbia. That is being monitored,” he said.
Kon said that more than half a million children are in primary school and still in high school, which is a great epidemiological risk.
In which case, online classes will begin.
Kon said that the Ministry of Education is in charge of closing schools and that the epidemiological situation is not the same in some parts of Serbia.
“It is clear to everyone that this will be an additional challenge and it will be necessary to react urgently. We will monitor the general situation. If the general situation in a territory worsens, ensuring that you enter schools, then measures will be taken so that everyone is in line”. he said.
He said that for now, the situation remains under control.
“We are convinced of that third increase, if a miracle happened if everyone respected the measures of that third wave, it would not happen,” Kon said.
Kon added that relaxation should not be repeated, and that wearing masks does not belong to something that is in our being and we resist it culturally.
“We are trying our best now not to be surprised. Our growth started around June 5, since then a visible increase has started, suddenly explodes somewhere after the elections. Before the elections, there is a clearly visible increase.” Kon said.
