The epidemiologist and member of the Crisis Staff, Predrag Kon, today sent a “public invitation” to all state officials on his profile on the social network Facebook.
That is, he wrote in large capital letters:
– PUBLIC INVITATION: I ask all state officials to wear masks on all occasions when it is mandatory. And for him and as an example for others, Kon wrote.
In response to one of the comments, in which he writes that he should not address the people on Facebook who follow him because they respect the measures, but rather the members of the executive branch that he meets with, Kon replied that the appeal will be broadcast by All the means.
He added that on that occasion he also wrote to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić.
In comments, many supported his proposal and appeal, calling for both state officials and other citizens to suffer the consequences if they do not wear masks.
We remind you that Dr. Kon pointed out yesterday that the situation is uncertain as long as the virus is present and as long as the population is sensitive.
– The fact is that we are in a more favorable situation than a month ago. The circulation of the virus can hardly be completely ruled out, considering the arrival of autumn, the beginning of schools, the opening of which is necessary in a certain period – said Dr. Kon on the morning TV show “Pink”.
