“I killed my father, I stabbed him in the heart,” he said coldly at the hearing of MM (17) from Paracin, who was arrested on suspicion of having killed his father Boban M. (42) in front of his mother, after which the prosecutor ordered. detention for up to 30 days.
The family tragedy occurred on Tuesday night at the family apartment on Nemanjina Street in Paracin, when Boban came to visit his son.
– This is the culmination of many years of family intolerance. Boban left the family and founded an extramarital union with another woman, where he also lived, but kept in contact with his son, who remained living with his mother. Their relationship changed and as both were encouraged, they were always on the brink of conflict, which culminated in a crime on Tuesday night, says a source in Kurir close to the investigation, adding:
– The teenager obviously had the intention of killing him, he stabbed his father several times in the chest and stomach, but the fatal one was when he stabbed the blade in his heart. Boban was strong and despite the deadly stinger, he was showing signs of life when the ambulance arrived. They rushed him to the hospital, but all the efforts of the doctors to save him were in vain because in the meantime he bled to death. It was a fatal stab to the heart. The drama took place in front of MM’s mother and Boban’s ex-wife, who called the ambulance and the police.
Domestic violence
Sava M., the grandfather of the arrested young man, says Boban and his son occasionally fought, but that nothing indicated a tragedy.
– For a while they got along and lived. From time to time there were conflicts and fights. I was not in the apartment at the time of the murder, but my daughter called me to tell me what had happened. She told me that Boban came to the apartment the day before yesterday to see her son. They were reluctant to start a conversation, and when Boban began to complain about his son, an argument broke out that turned into a fight. They were both strong, but the son is still younger and weaker, so when he probably saw that he would be beaten, he took a kitchen knife. He targeted his right heart, says Grandpa Sava.
– “Oh, I killed my father, what did I do?” Groaned my grandson, as he hit his head on the ground next to Boban, who lay bloody and barely alive. “Boban, Boban,” my daughter screamed, calling for her ex-husband, trying to wake him up! I was trying to calm my grandson, who was going crazy, she was afraid that she would hurt herself. I was holding him, and he was hitting his head, he wanted to break everything around him. In that commotion, we could hardly wait for the ambulance to arrive. He was afraid that he might hurt himself, because he recently took a handful of pills, Grandpa Sava told Novosti.
According to his grandfather, M. is the only one, in February of the following year he turned 18. Boban left the family when the boy was seven, but lately he has been coming to his rented apartment. He wanted to make contact, but they mostly fought. To make the accident worse, the grandfather assures that the young man has a year of mental illness and is taking medication. He also claims that his mother recently brought him to Belgrade, with certified instructions for treatment in various institutions, but they did not receive him anywhere.
– I was nervous, when he enters that phase he does not sleep for three days, he does not eat. Just listen to loud music. Stopped going to school, lost child allowance. Sam said he was thinking about killing himself or hurting someone at night. He recently took many “lorazepam” and “bensedine” tablets. We couldn’t wake him up and we immediately called the ambulance, so they saved him at the hospital, Grandpa Sava told us.
Neighbors in Jagodnjak are reluctant to talk about this family.
– We know little about those ground floor tenants because some of them were constantly moving and moving there. We heard that a murder happened – say the neighbors.
By the way, the late Boban M., according to the story of an acquaintance, was troublesome.
– He had conflicts with the law on several occasions and was convicted of various crimes. He also had several marriages, and in some he was arrested for domestic violence. He loved the guns and pointed to photos on social media of him carrying a gun, those familiar with the situation in the family said.
At the suggestion of the Higher Public Ministry of Jagodina, MM ordered the detention of a juvenile judge for up to one month on suspicion of committing the crime of homicide.
“We have issued an autopsy order and a psychiatric examination will probably be carried out on the young man,” confirmed Nenad Necic, Kurir’s chief prosecutor.
