So, put away your bathing suits and put away your umbrellas.
It will be sunny and very warm in Serbia over the weekend, and the maximum temperature will range between 33 and 36 degrees.
On the website of the Hydrometeorological Institute of the Republic, there is an announcement of very hot weather, but also of the cooling that we have ahead.
Also, it should be noted that the UV radiation index is very high, so be careful with succulents: protect your skin and head and spend as much time as possible in the shade.
– Today and tomorrow throughout the country, and on Monday in the central, eastern and southern areas very warm with the maximum temperature of 33 to 36 degrees. From Tuesday, September 1 through the end of the week, it will be changeable and noticeably cooler, with occasional rain showers and thunder showers.
Due to its high temperatures, the orange weather alarm is also in effect, which means that the weather is dangerous.
– Dangerous meteorological phenomena have been predicted, of such intensity that they can cause material damage and be dangerous for people and animals. You have to be very careful, be aware of the risks and be regularly informed about the details of the expected weather conditions. Follow the advice given by the competent state services, which are indicated on the RHMZ website.
Meteorologist Djordje Djuric also confirmed that cooling awaits us.
– The weekend will be sunny, with tropical temperatures. Also, a tropical night is expected in Belgrade the night between Saturday and Sunday, that is, the temperature will not be below 20 degrees. On Monday, it will be somewhat colder in the north and west of Serbia compared to the weekend. Temperatures will range from 28 in the northwest to 36 in the southeast, Đurić said.
Then will come the formation of clouds, first in the west and north, which will bring rain followed by thunder during the night.
– Tuesday will be cloudy and cooler across the country, sometimes with showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from 22 degrees in the north to 28 degrees in the south. The next day will be dry and moderately warm, while on Thursday it is expected to rain again followed by thunder – said Đurić adding that from Tuesday the temperature will be more comfortable according to the calendar.
In Nis, the temperature will be 10 degrees lower in just a few days. Also, there may be showers followed by thunder.
Đurić also emphasized that the summer is not over yet, but that temperatures of 36.37 degrees should not be expected again.
– The weather should not be surprising, in 1946, 41 degrees were measured in Belgrade in September, but we are far from those forecasts and announcements – Đurić concluded.
So despite the short-term cooling, there will still be a good time to enjoy the summer temperatures.
