The director of the Požega Health Center, Vera Matović, said today that the epidemiological curve in that city has stabilized in the last two weeks, and that the number of crowns newly infected with the virus ranges between 15 and 20 daily. .
According to her, 120 examinations are carried out daily, of which the first 40, and the population between 25 and 50 years old is sick in this wave.
– They are stronger immune, the picture is softer, but that does not mean that we do not have difficult patients among them. It will be very rare among children, and that is among fifth to eighth graders, Dr. Matović told RTS.
She claims that 5,500 people received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Požega, and that 4,000 of them were fully immunized, which, as she says, is a very high percentage of vaccination.
He adds that in Pozega, about 46 percent of health workers received the vaccine, which places that city among those with the highest percentage of vaccinated doctors in Serbia.
