Miloš Biković announced on his Twitter profile that he was one of the actors who signed the petition for Branislav Lečić to be excluded from the upcoming performances of the play “When Pumpkins Bloomed” at the Belgrade Dramatic Theater.
“I have great respect for the presumption of innocence and that is something that I will always defend and always defend. I do not participate in the witch hunt and I do not put myself in the position of judge,” Biković said, reports H1.

According to them, Biković pointed out that the public, and therefore the Belgrade Drama Theater ensemble, were upset by Danijela Steinfeld’s claim that Lečić raped her.
“Therefore, in order to protect the work that also deals with the issue of rape, I supported the initiative that Branislav Lecic not be part of the work until the current situation is officially resolved,” Bikovic wrote in his Twitter post.
Actor Branislav Lecic was questioned by the police for more than seven hours about his colleague Danijela Steinfed’s accusation that he raped her nine years ago. He passed a polygraph and underwent a lie detector at his request.
The Belgrade Drama Theater previously announced that, at the request of a large part of the ensemble of the play “When Pumpkins Bloomed”, actor Branislav Lecic was excluded from upcoming performances due to the current situation.
