According to unofficial information, they neglected the health needs of their pregnant daughter for a long period of time, from last year to mid-March this year in the unsanitary settlement of Čukarica in Obrenovački.

It turns out that the teenager gave birth in a makeshift barracks where she lived with her family. According to the first information, he was born to his mother, who cut the umbilical cord with a kitchen knife.

“The mother and father never took the girl to the gynecologist for examination even though she was pregnant. When she gave birth, the umbilical cord was cut and the newborn was thrown into the trough behind the barracks. The boy was alive and they covered him up. with letters and things like that ”, explains a source from the investigation.

After the teenager gave birth, her parents took her to the doctor. There it turned out that they said he was complaining of stomach pains and bleeding.

“They denied her pregnancy. However, after recognition, the doctors immediately alerted the police, who went to the barracks where they lived as a family. A search, behind the barracks, revealed a newborn in the trough. The baby showed signs of life, but he was in serious condition. According to the doctor’s estimates, he was found at the last minute, “says the interlocutor, adding that a knife was found next to the water trough, which is suspected to have cut the umbilical cord.

The adolescent’s older brother, V. M (19), denied that his parents had given birth to his sister, noting that neither of them even knew that she was pregnant and that she herself had given birth.

“None of us knew she was pregnant. By the way, she’s fuller, so we thought she was gaining weight,” says the young man.

As he says, his sister is calm, quiet, and withdrawn.

“She went to school. We don’t even know she had a boyfriend. She gave birth alone and cut the umbilical cord with a knife. She even left the child at the trough,” she says, adding that they found out what happened when she complained to his father.

“She complained to her father and told him that her umbilical cord had fallen off. It was then that we realized she was pregnant. We immediately took her to the hospital,” she says.

At the hospital they learned from her that the boy stayed in the yard.

“We searched everything until a policeman and I found it at the trough,” added the brother.

They immediately wrapped the baby in a towel and took him to the Maternal and Child Institute in a police vehicle.

“I called the hospital, they are fine,” says the mother’s underage brother.

As he said, no one in the family knows who the father of the child is.

“This is a great shock to me. My father is detained, my mother fainted. This is eating me, I can’t believe it happened,” says the brother and concludes:

“Who would have expected this, we worked all day and night, we couldn’t figure it out.”

The alleged marriage SM and NM will be transferred tomorrow to the Prosecutor’s Office for questioning, where they will be able to present their defense. The court will then decide whether there are grounds for ordering your detention for up to 30 days.
