“Normally I do not interfere, although it would be normal for me to take care of Telecom’s interests for part of the state capital, I try not to interfere or I have learned a lesson. It is clear that there are competitive relationships between your company and Serbian Telecom. Let us guarantee competition and fight in the market, “said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, when asked by H1 if it is normal for the director of a state company (Telekom Srbije) to write that his goal is to destroy and collapse another company. He stated that “everyone has their own competition in the market” and that “everyone must fight for their own in a competitive system”, adding: “solve it in court.”
We remind you that the documents obtained by H1 show everything that the state telecommunications operator would like to hide.
In several different documents to the members of the executive and supervisory board, Vladimir Lucic, the current director of Telecom, clearly explained that the goal is to destroy the television stations within United Media and that the cooperation with Telenor is actually just one medium. to make it.
At the same time, the conditions given to Telenor were not offered on the market, but the contract was concluded in secret, at prices that were not publicly announced anywhere.
Aleksandar Vučić told a press conference on the occasion of the 100th day of government that Telekom told him that “some private companies” went to all resources “almost without paying anything and using state resources”.
“I would like the language to be different, I don’t blame Telecom, which wants to survive in the market. Whether the language is appropriate or not is another matter. If I told you what words you use when you talk about me, and I never answered you. I don’t complain to anyone. I think its owner will solve it in court, and it seems that Telecom likes the courts very much, it will solve it in court. I would like these relationships to be incomparably more courteous and to be talked about. Everyone has their own competition in the market and everyone must fight for theirs in a competitive system. I hope that the language is the biggest problem, although there are objections about how the owner runs the company. We have no problems, because we want foreign investment. The higher and better their salaries, the more income we will have. I would like to have more investors of this type, to have more money in the budget. “Do not be one-sided to see not only the position of the owner of your media, but also of those in Telecom who are trying to save the state capital,” President Vučić said.
United Group previously warned that it has been exposed to attacks from both Telekom and Telenor since N1 journalists revealed Telekom Srbija’s plan to cooperate with Telenor for the destruction of free media in Serbia and the persecution of United Media and SBB. Telenor is an accomplice of Telekom, according to the United Group, and asks that company to declare on the evidence, that is, on the documents in which it is clearly written that the objective of the Telekom-Telenor alliance is the collapse of SBB.
N1 also operates within the United Group.
