Filip R. (19) from Plandište died in a serious traffic accident yesterday on the Vršac – Plandište road, when his car “Mercedes” was hit by “BMW” in the opposite direction under inexplicable circumstances.
The driver (25) of “BMW”, otherwise from Vrsac, was seriously injured, and it has not yet been announced how he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the car, with which the injured Filip tried to escape on the right. Filip’s co-pilot (20) died with minor bodily injuries.
Filip played for FK Sloga in Plandište, which yesterday said goodbye to the injured youngster.
– Yesterday he played the last game with our jersey as a starter against the Buducnost de Alibunar team. We express our deepest condolences to our family, friends, and everyone who met our Fić. May you have eternal glory, Fićo, it says in the Facebook post.
Members of the Ministry of the Interior in Pancevo will bring criminal charges against a 25-year-old from Vrsac on the grounds that there is reason to suspect that he committed a crime of a serious crime against public traffic safety.
