According to her, andragogues classify people as functionally illiterate who can go to extremes, that is, complete illiteracy.

According to some research on the occasion of International Literacy Day, Serbia listened to almost 80 percent of illiterates in the 20th century, and that number between the two world wars dropped to 50 percent.
During the socialist regime, this percentage was further reduced, but even that state did not pay attention to the part of the population that dropped out of primary school, which was predominantly Roma and rural population.
In addition, the percentage of children with special needs was hidden and they were not sent to school, so the facts remained, especially those who were not in the families of the intellectuals, without any education.
